WIB was founded to provide a network of resources for women (and men) to connect with other professional students, UWB Alumni, as well as established professionals in the community. WIB provides a forum in which we can discuss issues, network, find and provide support for each other. As we transition into and out of professions, the Women In Business University of Washington Bothell Charter, seeks to open doors, provide advice and create a networking forum for all involved.
As our charter develops, we plan to expand our vision and grow. WIB seeks to create general discussion forums, a mentoring program and women in business events notice board as well as fundraising to assist in making our visions into a reality. In addition, creation of an exclusive member network allowing access to expanded resources and special opportunities. Future visions include scholarship opportunities for women who have the talent and the drive, but lack the financials. Ultimately, WIB looks to provide women in business members with the edge needed in today?s business environment. |
